Note: Il est possible de présenter en français à notre conférence de Montréal. SVP l’indiquer dans votre proposition.

Both DevTeach and its joint event SQLTeach include world renown speakers among its Tech Chairs. Our tech chair team members is listed below.

We are currently looking for speakers for our Montreal 2008 conference. If you are interested, send your session abstracts to our Tech Chair member. Please, include "DevTeach-SQLTeach-Montreal-2008-Sessions" in the subject of your email. Speakers must submit there sessions abstracts by July 31st, 2008 .

Speakers must provide sessions abstracts by July 31st, 2008

Here are a few tips:

Submit at least 3 talks. More is better though, because to get in (if you are not a local speaker), you will have to present 3 different sessions, and it is somewhat unlikely that 3 out of 3 match our needs. So the more you can submit the better. Local speakers (Local = no travel and hotel expenses) can present one session or more.

Every time Microsoft releases a new developer technology, we get dozens of submissions for intro sessions like “Introduction to LINQ” recently. Try to find an edge or try to focus on a specific aspect of the technology.

In case of doubt, send an email to devteach-techchair(at)googlegroups.com

More Details:

All sessions demonstrating Visual Studio and/or SQL Server must be presented using Visual Studio 2008 and/or SQL Server 2008.  The only exception is for demonstration of beta where future versions are allowed. Try to include .NET 3.5 stuff in your sessions.

What DevTeach covers for speakers?

For selected non-local speakers , DevTeach will cover up to 4 nights at the hotel of the conference and all travel expenses. All speakers will get a Polo shirt, a complementary pass to the main event that includes 3 breakfasts and 3 lunches. They will also be invited to the speaker’s dinner.
